Description

Description: MC-800 is a water-based, gun-applied acrylic sealant that cures to a flexible, tough rubber with excellent adhesion to porous surfaces without primer. It is cost-effective, eco-friendly, and can be easily cleaned with water. This dispersion acrylic sealant outperforms traditional caulking compounds like butyl and oil-based mastics.

Uses:

  • Cargo containers and cabins
  • General glazing on wood, concrete, marble, etc.
  • DIY projects: gutters, door and window joints, skylights, air-conditioning
  • Energy-saving: seals air drafts around air conditioners

Application:

  1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Mask smooth surfaces for easy cleanup.
  3. Use approved back-up material in joints.
  4. Cut the nozzle to the desired size.
  5. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun.
  6. Apply sealant uniformly, tooling within 5 minutes.
  7. Clean excess sealant with water.

Curing Time:

  • Tack-free in approximately 10 minutes.
  • Cures to a depth of 10mm in 7-14 days (longer in cold or humid conditions).
